The food is an all-American brunch/ dinner feel. Staff is always friendly and inviting. The place is well kept, beautiful open late spring/ summer outdoor seating your view will be filled with beautiful flowers and daily traffic.

Good food. Fast, efficient service. Prices are reasonable. (Yada, yada, yada, yada, yada)

This is our go-to breakfast place in RI. It is a hidden gem that you may just pass by without noticing. It looks small from the outside but they can seat a decent number of people at once. The service has always been great, the wait staff is always so nice and the food comes out very quickly. They give large portions which is important in my opinion for a breakfast spot. They also serve lunch which I have not tried but I'm sure is just as amazing as the breakfast.

My daughter and I love Harriet's. The food is always perfect. Our waitress with the dark hair is so friendly and nice. Keep up the good service!!! Thank you

Ladies and gents, gather 'round and let me tell you about the unparalleled breakfast brilliance that is Harriet's Kitchen. Now, I fancy myself somewhat of a breakfast aficionado, and after devouring brunches far and wide, Harriet's remains unbeaten. Imagine a world where every other breakfast joint becomes a mere hors d'oeuvre to the main course of Harriet's. Yep, that's the world I'm living in. When it comes to my regulars, it's always a toss-up between the lip-smacking #12, the Croissant Sandwich--a delightful medley of scrambled egg, cheese, and your choice of meaty goodness. Pair that with their home fries, and don't be shy; ask 'em crispy and deep-fried, just as I do. And if I'm feeling adventurous? The Hash Benedict sweeps me off my feet every time. Picture this: English muffin, corned beef hash, two poached beauties (that's eggs, my friend), slathered in Hollandaise sauce. And yes, those crispy home fries are non-negotiable! The Mrs.? She's all in for the Harriet's Special - two eggs, toast, and those unforgettable home friends...err, I mean, fries! As for my little one? The Mickey Mouse pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar are her jam. Cute fact: she nibbles the ears first, every time! The ambiance? Classic Rhode Island! It's that cozy corner where everyone knows your name and, heck, probably your order too! The charm isn't just in the air; it's in every plate, every smile. Speaking of smiles, a big shoutout to Harriet's top-tier servers--always on the ball and ever-so-delightful. You'll feel the owners' presence--they're hands-on, ensuring impeccable service every single time. I've been a loyal patron for a whopping 14 years, and I've evangelized Harriet's gospel to many. Honestly? I see a lifetime of breakfasts here, right till my twilight years. In the race for the best breakfast and brunch in the state, Harriet's Kitchen isn't just running; they're soaring! P.S. A wee bit of wisdom for newcomers: if it's packed (and trust me, it often is), brace yourself for a bit of outdoor waiting. No fancy reservation list here--just an old-school, honor-based queue. And communication's key; it's a dance of nodding and smiling, figuring out who's next. To sum it up? Harriet's Kitchen isn't just a breakfast joint--it's a Rhode Island legend!!!

A wonderful breakfast find while traveling. Welcoming staff and a good cheese and mushroom omelette with bottomless coffee.

I hadn't been to Harriet's in at least 20 years. But the food is just as delicious as I remember. The service was great and even though there were tons of "regulars" coming in and out while we were there, we weren't made to feel like we were out of place or infringing on someone else's territory. It was a great breakfast and a very comfortable experience!! My daughter got the Mickey Mouse pancake (chocolate chip) and I got the eggs Florentine. Both were absolutely delicious. And the home fries were very different (like thinly sliced potatoes) but some of the best I've had in a while!! We'll definitely be back!!

Awesome breakfast at Harriet's Kitchen in Cranston! The bang for your buck is no joke. I ordered their #5 which was 2 eggs any style, either 2 pancakes or 2 slices of french toast, toast and their signature homefries. $11 w/ tax The homefries were different but really good. Some were crispy and some were more soft which I liked. The pancakes were huge!!! Usually when they come with a meal like that they're tiny. Great value and everything was delicious and hot. Must try!

This is a great little restaurant on Atwood Avenue in Cranston. On this beautiful November day we decided to celebrate my daughter's birthday with a nice breakfast. They have a nice little outdoor patio that was full due to the great weather. I had a Belgian waffle with warm apples and whipped cream. It was soft, fluffy, and delicious. My kids had omelettes with their signature home fries. Besides breakfast, Harriet's also offers appetizers, sandwiches and burgers. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Masks were worn by the wait staff. Check this place out, it's a great place with delicious food and fast service!
